The newly refurbished oriental pearl restaurant has transformed into a high end cocktail bar, similar to those in London?s west end. There are now themed areas within the venue. "Situated in the fashionable suburb of West Bridgeford, Oriental Pearl is a sophisticated bar and contemporary Cantonese restaurant offering exclusive seating downstairs ideal for our dating sessions.

Xfactor have exclusive use of the ground floor bar designed in a modern contemporary Shanghai feel. Relax at the Pearl bar in it's newly refurbished interior, listen to a mix of chilled out sounds and latest chart music. It's comfy, roomy and airy - which all helps create a relaxed and fun vibe for the night.
Registration opens from 7.30pm and Speed Dating kicks off at 8pm prompt.
Our Speed Dating evenings are a great fun way to meet likeminded singles in a relaxed atmosphere. Just come along with an open mind and don't take it too seriously. You'll have a great time and meet lots of single people and the chance to meet that someone special.
Speed Dating guests are greeted by our Host and Icebreaker. On arrival our host will register you in to the event and give you a scorecard, a name badge and a pen, then invite you to have a drink at the bar to mingle with other guests.
Then the host will announce that the dating begins. Women will be seated, while men will rotate between tables every 3-4 minutes so you get to meet and chat to everyone at the event. After each date, guests mark on a scorecard whether they would like to see that person again.
The Speed Dating sessions finish between 9 and 10pm, when guests are invited to stay on afterwards for drinks at the bar and further mingling.
Everyone takes their scorecards home with them at the end of the night to enter their ticks online on the Xfactor website and find out who they?ve matched with. You can then contact anyone you match with through our secure website. All our events are guaranteed! If you don't meet at least one person you'd like to see again, your next event is free.
