How speed dating Works

Once you have booked your speed dating place via our web site or over the phone, we assign you your film star alias for the night. When you arrive on the evening of one of our Nottingham speed dating parties for registration, usually at 7.30pm, you will be given a Smart Card, which will contain the film star names of those attending the evening. You will also receive a pen and a label containing your film star alias to stick on your Smart Card and one to stick on your person so the people you meet know who you are. We sound the horn about half an hour after registration and everyone takes his or her seat. Your seat number will be marked on your Smart Card. After a short welcome speech in which we explain how the evening works, we sound the horn and the speed dating commences. The ladies stay seated and the men move around.
