How long will the speed dating experience in Cheltenham last?
speed dating in Cheltenham will normally involve about 20 three-minute dates, with 30-second intervals to move around to the next table and make brief notes about the person you just met. After about 8 dates we stop the official dating for a well-deserved break. Get a drink from the bar and listen out for the horn which signals that the next round is about to start. How speed dating Works
Once you have booked your speed dating ticket via our web site or over the phone, we assign you your film star alias for the night. On arrival and registration at one of our Cheltenham speed dating parties (usually at 7.30pm), you'll be given a Smart Card which will contain the film star names of those attending the evening. In addition you'll be given a pen and a sticky name badge showing your film star alias name to let everyone know who you are. We sound the horn about half an hour after registration and everyone takes his or her seat, with seat numbers marked on the Smart Cards. After a short welcome speech in which we explain how the evening works, we sound the horn and the speed dating commences. Throughout the event, ladies stay seated and the men move around.
