This is a fantastically stylish and romantic speed dating venue full of eastern promise. The walls and ceilings are a treasure trove of ornaments, mirrors, chests, statues and wooden masks that are all for sale. But the fun doesn’t stop there, if you think the cutlery would look good on your dinning room table, or that the chairs would set off your conservatory you can make a bid for them!

About Smart Dating speed dating events
The Smart Dating UK speed dating experience was launched 12 months ago by four thirty-somethings who'd each become somewhat disillusioned with the single scene. Between them they'd tried most forms of dating and although they each had met some lovely people, were finding most dating methods to be costly, time consuming and ineffective. speed dating was not being offered in the, area so the idea grew, and Smart Dating UK was born... We are currently looking for speed dating venues in Cheltenham, so if you know somewhere you think may be suitable, please do let us know and we will give you and your friends free places at our Cheltenham launch event.
What to say during 3 minute speed dating ?
You will find that 3 minutes goes very quickly so you need to be careful not to end up just talking about yourself and not finding anything out about your date! However, don't make the mistake of interrogating or interviewing your date with a long list of questions! Although you may find out a lot about someone you are not likely to leave them with a particularly good impression of yourself! We suggest that you prepare a few set questions in case you get stuck at any time, for example, “do you have any favourite restaurants in Cheltenham ”. The key is to try and keep a balance between finding out about your date and giving them an idea of what you are like.
How speed dating Works
Once you have booked your speed dating ticket via our web site or over the phone, we assign you your film star alias for the night. On arrival and registration at one of our Cheltenham speed dating parties (usually at 7.30pm), you'll be given a Smart Card which will contain the film star names of those attending the evening. In addition you'll be given a pen and a sticky name badge showing your film star alias name to let everyone know who you are. We sound the horn about half an hour after registration and everyone takes his or her seat, with seat numbers marked on the Smart Cards. After a short welcome speech in which we explain how the evening works, we sound the horn and the speed dating commences. Throughout the event, ladies stay seated and the men move around.
