Significant investment has transformed this church into a genuinely stunning venue, which really has to be seen. Clever design has turned a cavernous space into various secluded areas each with their own unique style and we have exclusive use of one of the cosy upstairs balconies. The food menu is also delectable so why not come along a bit earlier and get bite to eat.
There is also convenient parking just round the corner at Piltcher Gate car park, just of Fletcher Gate.

"Was a brilliant evening speed dating and really well organised. I was a bit nervous at the beginning but I soon relaxed into it. It was quite exhausting talking to so many potential boyfriends in one night. Not used to it!!! It was also really good just to meet some new people for a change. Have been on a couple of dates and am looking forward to the next one." Clare, Nottingham
"My speed dating went so well that 3 months later we are still seeing each other and have no plans to need your services in the near future!!!! Speed dating was definitely a roaring success for us! My friend who I attended the speed dating evening with is also still seeing the guy she met so speed dating has 100% success rate as far as we are concerned! I have recommended friends try it out too based on how much we got out of the evening." Julie, Nottingham
Smart Dating UK joined forces with the NSPCC in January 2004. We donated £2 from each speed dating booking fee to the NSPCC at our speed dating parties in Nottingham and across the UK.
You will find that 3 minutes goes very quickly so you need to be careful not to end up just talking about yourself and not finding anything out about your date! However, don't make the mistake of interrogating or interviewing your date with a long list of questions! Although you may find out a lot about someone you are not likely to leave them with a particularly good impression of yourself! We suggest that you prepare a few set questions in case you get stuck at any time, for example, “do you have any favourite restaurants in Nottingham ”. The key is to try and keep a balance between finding out about your date and giving them an idea of what you are like.
"Just thought I should say thank you for organising the event back in early August. Not only did I have a most enjoyable and fun evening, but most unexpectedly, I actually met someone I have embarked on a serious relationship with! Just thought you would like to know that your efforts have had some positive results!" Rob - Bath
"Just thought I would say how much fun the speed dating evening was. I actually met someone on the night and things are going really well between us. So to anyone thinking of trying it, go for it." Louise - Manchester
"Just thought I'd say it was a really good night. I'd tried speed dating down in London a few times but your company seemed much friendlier. Richard, HULL.
