Many have and still think nightclubs are good places to meet singles, but that’s far from the reality. They’re great for going out with a group of mates, drinking, crazy dancing and generally having a good time, but they’re just not great for dating and approaching singles. The music is too loud making it difficult to talk, most people have been drinking so you’re unlikely to get to know the real person and even if you do get a phone number the chances are you’re not going to have a great memory of each other the next day.
If you think about it, meeting people on the street is just so much better. They’re not drunk, there’s no competition, they’re polite, usually flattered by the approach and you can see how they are naturally in their everyday life.
Most of us just wouldn’t dream of approaching women or men on the street from fear of rejection, but armed with a little courage and a combination of improvisation, comedy and advanced banter skills from a Street Improv course you can be meeting all sorts of people and realising massive benefits in all areas of your life.
After years of research, Streetmate, have launched their innovative ‘Street Improv’ training weekends. The workshop consists of 5 hours of theory and 8 hours of practical, all jam packed into two days. Explanations break everything down making it easy to understand what’s going on in comedy and improvisation. During the practical part of the workshop you will be using your new skills immediately. Practice makes perfect and after two days you will have laid the foundation to skills most people could only dream of having.
