New Dating App: Scissr
Not a dating app for sentient stationery.
Disappointed with the lesbian dating apps that are currently available, Allison Ullrich has decided to start her own and is launching a new app called Scissr. Ullrich had found it quite difficult to meet women to date in reality, as bars she visited tended to be either predominantly filled with heterosexual people or homosexual males. As such, she had to turn to dating sites and apps for this purpose, but since they also didn’t seem to be all that good, she decided to create Scissr.
Scissr, due to launch very soon, will make use of your mobile phone’s GPS function in order to match you with other people in the area. You’ll have the option to mark someone on there as a ‘Crush’ or add other users to a private wish list of yours. Hopefully Scissr will provide the lesbian community with a helpful dating service that will be used for years to come.
Have you had experience of lesbian dating apps before? Were they good or bad? And do you think that Scissr will be the solution to the problems?
